Success at the Borough Athletics Event

A huge well done to all of our Year 7 and Year 8 students who took part in the Borough Athletics event. You were fantastic representatives of the school, showing determination, enthusiasm and resilience throughout the day.
Our students achieved some excellent results:
Year 7
- 1st place in girls’ javelin, girls’ shot put and girls’ 100m
- 2nd place in boys’ high jump, girls’ relay, boys’ discus and boys’ shot put
- 3rd place in girls’ high jump
Year 8
- 1st place in girls’ relay and girls’ 100m
- 2nd place in girls’ 200m
- 3rd place in girls’ high jump
A massive thank you also goes to our Year 10 students, who helped supervise the event and supported the younger students throughout the day. Your maturity, responsibility and encouragement played an important role in making the event run smoothly.
