What is Mental Health?
We all have mental health, just as we all have physical health. Being mentally healthy means that we feel good about ourselves, make and keep positive relationships with others and can feel and manage the full range of emotions. Good mental health allows us to cope with life's ups and downs, to feel in control of our lives and to ask for help from others when we need support.
Children’s Mental Health Week - 9th – 15th February 2026
During this week, we will be taking part in Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week. This year’s theme, ‘This is my place’, aims to promote inclusivity and foster a strong sense of belonging for all young people within our school. To support this, we will be offering a range of optional lunchtime activities for students to take part in. These activities are designed to encourage connection, wellbeing, and community. Students will also be signposted to additional support available to them throughout the week.
Please refer to the optional activity timetable below and ensure you sign up by Friday 30th January 2026.
