Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

We are committed to fulfil our school mission to create a Christ-centred learning community where every individual is enabled to fulfil their true potential. We envision an equal, inclusive and diverse society where everyone feels valued and is able to succeed. We aim to create a culture of belonging, through educating one another and learning about the rich, diverse school community that we are, as well as the wider globally diverse community we are a part of. Diversity and inclusion is an important part of our school culture, reflected in our curriculum and pastoral support.

EDI Ambassadors

Our EDI ambassadors from all year groups meet every week and plan events and presentations for our community. They have been involved in creating events to celebrate many key events such as Black History Month, International Women’s Day, Gypsy Roma Traveller Month and South Asian Heritage Month. As well as this they have been raising awareness around other issues that are important to our school community including disability.

Culture Day

In November 2022 we held our first Culture Day where staff and students celebrated their culture through their clothing, food, dance and music. It gave our community the opportunity not only to teach others about their heritage but learn about the huge diversity within our school. Everyone looked amazing and we are looking forward to the next Culture Day in 2023.
