Welcome to the Douay Martyrs Catholic Secondary School Careers page
We believe that it is just as important to understand why you are doing something, as it is to learn how to do it. Which is why it is vital to start thinking about what Career path to take, or more simply put, what you want to do in the future!
The Douay Martyrs Catholic Secondary School ensures that there is an opportunity for a range of education and training providers to access all pupils in Year 8 to Year 13 for the purpose of informing them about approved technical education qualifications or apprenticeships.
At Douay Martyrs, we help students to have a better understanding of their path for the future and we have targeted activities for each year group. You can find these details by clicking the link “The Douay Careers Programme” below.
One of the keys to success in helping students on this journey is having meaningful interactions with industry professionals. We would be happy to hear from anyone that is willing to give up their time to give back to the Douay community. We have many programmes in place including, but not limited to, Virtual Coffees, Mock Interview Days, CV analysis and more. Please get in touch using the contact details at the bottom of this page if you work in industry and would like to find out how you can be involved.
For the students we invite you to click on the links below to find out more about what strengths you have and what possible industries you can go into, apprenticeships, university courses and what you can look forward to this year.
Have fun exploring!
