  • Junior Mathematical Challenge 2021

    Published 02/07/21

Well done to our Year 8 Set one students who sat the UKMT Junior Challenge in April and achieved outstanding results! The UKMT Maths Challenge is a stimulating 60-minute paper designed to test the most abled mathematicians in the country with solving unique and interesting challenges and puzzles.

A huge congratulation to Jakub who managed to achieve a Gold certificate, putting him in the top 6.67% of entrants across the whole of the UK. This is an incredible achievement and we are all extremely proud of him.

Additionally, well done to 9 students for achieving Silver certificates and the 19 other students who achieved Bronze.

These are amazing results and a testament to the hard-working pupils at

The Douay Martyrs Catholic Secondary School.
